South Wenatchee Avenue from Kittitas Street to Yakima Street is temporarily closed to vehicle traffic during construction with closure anticipated to continue through the week of November 2nd.
The intersection of South Wenatchee Ave and Yakima Street will be closed two (2) business days starting tentatively November 2nd.
As construction progresses North, South Wenatchee Avenue from Yakima Street to Orondo Avenue will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic during construction with partial closure anticipated November 2nd-November 6th and full road closure tentatively November 9th - December 14th for the remaining storm system and water line upgrades.
Phase I road closures will conclude with the intersection of South Wenatchee Ave and Orondo Ave, it will be closed two (2) business days tentatively starting December 16th.
Temporary traffic impacts from roadway closure along S Wenatchee Ave from Kittitas St to Orondo Ave can be anticipated until the water line installation and underground utility upgrades are complete the week of December 14th.
Pedestrian and business access will be maintained throughout both closures. Site signage, detour notices, and public information boards are posted around the perimeter fencing of the active work areas.
