Wenatchee Streetscape Project

The Wenatchee Streetscape Project will transform two blocks of Wenatchee Avenue between Kittitas Street and Orondo Avenue with upgrades to underground utilities, roadway infrastructure, sidewalks, landscaping, and pedestrian areas. The work is intended to improve accessibility, support downtown businesses, and create a more welcoming corridor for residents and visitors while investing in the long-term function and appearance of downtown Wenatchee.

What's Included

The project includes a full reconstruction of Wenatchee Avenue with a focus on functionality and long-term performance:

  • New sidewalks and expanded pedestrian zones
  • Raised crossings and traffic calming features
  • Landscape and streetscape enhancements
  • Roadway reconstruction including curb, gutter, and paving
  • Upgraded stormwater and utility infrastructure
  • Updated on-street parking configuration to parallel parking
